Kings Nympton Primary School

Information About Us

At Kings Nympton School we aim to:

  • Be a happy School
  • Do the best we can
  • Think for ourselves
  • Have respect for others and the environment

Kings Nympton School was built in 1930 and has had many improvements over the years.  Our school has a playground, a playing field, a garden and a wildlife area which includes a pond.  We do not have a hall and so use the Parish Hall for P.E. and Drama.

School meals are not cooked on the school site but are sent from the Witheridge Primary School kitchen. Further details about the provision of school meals can be found on our Parents Page.

Also on our site is the Kings Nympton Pre-school, which feeds into our Key Stage 1 class.  Click here to see how to contact the Pre-school.

We have an active Friends’ Association. The present chair is Deborah Smallbone.  She can be contacted via The School Office.

Click here to see and/or download a copy of our School Brochure.  The brochure refers to our Home School Agreement which we encourage all parents to sign when their children join the school.  Further information can be found in our most recent Achievements and Developments leaflet, which the Governing Body sent out to parents in July.

We are a feeder primary school for Chulmleigh Community College but some children who live nearer South Molton choose to go to the community college there.  Please click on the links below to visit their websites.
