Kings Nympton Primary School

Kings Nympton is a small school of approximately 50 children, situated in the rural village of Kings Nympton in Devon. The children attending our school come from the parish of Kings Nympton and the surrounding areas.

As a school within The Two Moors Learning Partnership co-operative trust, a group of five local schools, we aim to deliver a high quality education with a constant focus on always improving. We are working closely with our Two Moors Learning Partnership schools to maximise the opportunities available to all of our children and everyone within our school and our wider community. At Kings Nympton Primary School every child and their development is important to us. We will help our children raise their aspirations, create opportunities and contribute fully to community life and be prepared for the opportunities that life in modern Britain has to offer. We do however understand that school is not just about exams and helping children to become independent and have the social skills to achieve in today’s society are equally as important.

In addition to this our aims are:

To offer a broad and balanced curriculum within a stimulating, supportive and safe school community to ensure that every child realises their full potential;

To provide an environment that encourages children to grow in confidence, independence and self-esteem;

To develop a sense of community and promote tolerance, equality of opportunity and respect for others and to encourage responsibility as an individual and within the wider community beyond our school by helping children develop a sense of citizenship.

We look forward to welcoming you to Kings Nympton Primary School.
